Group transfers in Paris: passengers and luggage
Seat count alone is not enough to plan group transport. Count large suitcases, cabin bags, sports equipment and child seats together.
Compare your options
Names such as V-Class and Sprinter do not guarantee an identical layout. Confirm the exact passenger and luggage capacity of the vehicle assigned. Different arrival flights or hotel drop-offs need different planning from a simple point-to-point journey.
Prepare an inventory rather than one number
“Six bags” does not distinguish six backpacks from six large cases. Separate cabin bags, suitcases, day bags, pushchairs and sports equipment. Provide dimensions and folding details for unusual items.
Our family preparation guide also explains how child seats affect the layout. Do not automatically treat an empty passenger seat as luggage storage.
Split flights and hotels into subgroups
A group may not be ready at the same time. For several flights, trains or hotels, list who arrives where, when and with which bags. That is more useful than an unexplained total.
The Paris station guide covers meeting arrangements. Declare every additional hotel as a stop and agree on coordination if more than one vehicle is needed.
Make vehicle numbers explicit
V-Class or Sprinter alone is not a capacity guarantee. The layout, storage and equipment must suit the actual group; several vehicles can be preferable to forcing everything into one.
For companies, the VIP business guide covers contacts and invoicing. Confirm the return separately if travellers or bags change, and verify capacity and vehicle numbers in the quote.
A practical planning example
If two of six travellers arrive on another flight and stay elsewhere, describe two subgroups with their bags and times. Explain whether you want shared waiting or separate vehicles. Capacity and coordination can then be considered together instead of relying on a total of six passengers.
Details to agree before requesting
Prepare a passenger and luggage list and provide dimensions for bulky items where needed. State every flight and drop-off address. If multiple vehicles are needed, agree on coordination and meeting arrangements. Check extra stops, waiting and the return plan in the written quote.
Your journey checklist
- Classify bags and measure bulky items.
- List each flight or train subgroup.
- Declare every hotel stop.
- Confirm vehicles and capacity for both directions.
